Traffic on Koval Lane between Tropicana and Sands Avenues will be limited to one lane in each direction in various locations from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily next week, as work begins on a repaving project there.
The first shift of the overnight lane restrictions will be from 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, to 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10. The subsequent shifts will be for the same hours overnight Monday-Tuesday, Tuesday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Thursday, and Thursday-Friday.
No lane restrictions are expected during non-working hours (6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily) and over the holiday weekend. Overnight lane restrictions are expected to return the following week, although details of any impacts are still being determined.
Aggregate Industries is the contractor for this project, which includes repaving, median improvements, and the addition of a third turn lane from northbound Koval Lane to westbound Sands Avenue.
