| Construction hours along Las Vegas Boulevard have changed to accommodate the expected increase in traffic as The Strip prepares to reopen.
Las Vegas Boulevard between Spring Mountain Road and Convention Center Drive will revert back to the original Monday through Friday working hours with traffic restrictions between 12:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Traffic can be restricted to one lane in each direction during the working hours and will have a minimum of two lanes in each direction during non-working hours. As work continues at the intersection of Spring Mountain Road to connect the new and existing waterlines, the Monday through Friday working hours will be from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. through Friday, June 5. There will be lane restrictions daily as the work progresses across the intersection. Additionally, Las Vegas Boulevard will be restricted to one lane in each direction, 24 hours a day, with crews working various hours Monday through Friday between Convention Center Drive and Sahara Avenue through Friday, June 5. The working hours and traffic will be evaluated on a daily basis and are subject to change. Please exercise increased caution around construction areas. |
